MY BOOK REVIEW:

This book is geared toward middle-grade young writers who are struggling with issues of grammar use. This is one of the many Scholastic Guides out there for students.

With that said, I added this book to my resource shelf because every now and then, I find myself needing to refresh my memory about grammar usage.

This book is divided into three sections, Building Sentences, Parts of Speech, Style and Usage, the latter being the most helpful, I found, to writers. Of course the entire book is good if you struggle with English Grammar.

Although simplistic, this book offers examples, tips and words lists that will help explain concepts.

It’s a great, quick refresher to own! Put out by Scholastic, this book is an excellent teaching device for any child too!

I give this book:

4stars
